The Most Classy Characters On Vampire Diaries
70The Season Finale
“The vampire diaries” is a very popular fantasy TV series nowadays. With the third season bringing more twists and mysteries into the plot, the t.r.p has never been higher and the following is greater than ever. Here in India too, the craze for the TV series is soaring high and he show is a teenage favorite.
There are some interesting characters on the show like the witch Bonnie Bennett and the Vampire-cum- Hybrid hunter Alaric Saltzman. There is the gloomy Jeremy Gilbert. Nothing goes right in his life. I have come across five characters who I find a class apart from the entire show. I personally feel that they add to the spice more than any one on the crew.
Starting from the fifth they are:
5. Tyler Lockwood
Played by: Michael Trevino
Clearly only he has the body to flaunt on the vampire diaries. His growth over the three seasons has been very positive in terms of attitude, behavior, importance and portrayal. From one angry teenage boy to a lost werewolf to a sired hybrid … the journey of Tyler Lockwood has had interesting twists which have been enacted fairly by Trevino. He has a smart robust look and his character comes out strong in his acting. A perfect choice for “the big bad wolf”.
4. Katherine Pierce
Played by: Nina Dobrev
She might stand all together in one of the bad guys list but there is no doubt that she is classy. Dobrev has portrayed the dark shades of Katherine perfectly. From her past to her sudden shows of love for the brothers and to the fear in her eyes for the originals, Dobrev does great justice to all. The character carries an air of class in every way she presents herself. Whether it may be cutting off Uncle Gilbert’s fingers or rotting in a tomb, the attitude doesn’t waver. The flashy hairdos, the lustrous cat walking style, the small nose and the red lips all add to the class of Katherine Pierce “the love of the brothers”
3. Klaus
Played by: Joseph Morgan
One question I wish to ask the casting crew is that did they examine the eyes of Morgan before casting him into Klaus? If yes, they showed shear brilliance ‘cause no one would have portrayed the role of the BIG ORIGINAL WOLF-VAMPIRE HYBRID more efficiently than himself. His eyes show the love for power which is so evident in his acting. The dialogue delivery, the body gestures, and the eye to eye communication, all increase the class of Klaus to new extent. Morgan does great justice to the role throughout the second and third season. The way he carries himself in the flashback versions as well as in the present ones show great authority in the character. The husky voice, the power hungry eyes, the always walking tall attitude make Klaus an utter nightmare, “The first original hybrid”.
2. Elijah
Played by: Daniel Gillies
No one can carry a suit in such fashion as Elijah does on the sets. The long hairstyle and the dark, black and white combination of classy suits make Elijah a classy character on the show. The only original to be bestowed with trust, Elijah comes out as the first original to appear on the show and his presence affects each and every character present. His voice carries a calm composed air of confidence and anything he speaks softly falls very loudly on the ears of the audience. The neat and clean action of ripping hearts out in a jiffy leave a remarkable impression of the character over the mind which doesn’t go off easily. Elijah makes himself wanted to be seen more on the sets more than the others. Gillies does great justice to the character and makes Elijah “the man of his word”
Damon Salvatore
Played by: Ian Somerhalder
Be it season one, two or three, Damon Salvatore is the ultimate classiest heart-throb on the show. I mean everything about the character is so justified and greatly portrayed by Somerhalder that every even calls for a call in our mind that “what would Damon have done in this situation”. From the first season he has been the most eventful character on the show and truly no one else would have been more interesting. The depiction of impulse, lost love, obsession, complex, jealousy, brotherhood, revenge, anger and umpteen numbers of other emotions is perfect in the character thanks to the remarkably great acting by Ian Somerhalder. Every accolade you put forward seems a little less for the character. I mean he carries of everything he puts on. His lip twitching actions brings about some interesting twists every time. No doubt he is the lead according to most of the audience. The classy convertible, the million dollar smile, the girls, the blood, the carelessly carefree attitude all make Damon Salvatore “the most wanted vampire” on the show and everyone in the audience wants a piece of this guy.

I was kindly surprised to find a hub about Vampire Diaries in your profile. Nice hub. I like this show. And agree with your character ratings. But sometimes this show seems too sweet for me. I love True Blood more.
Thank you for sharing. It was interesting to read.
Nice hub ! I'm quite an ardent follower of tvd , so much so that I tend to follow the spoilers of upcoming episodes right after I've finished watching the last one aired !
Just couldnt vote on your poll !Maybe you could add another choice it - ' my mind changes with every episode ' .lol
Hope to read more of your hubs soon .
Happy Hubbing !
rahul ,

like i said , i just can't decide on my favourites . they change with every episode..i just know who definitely it isnt ..N strangely its Nina dobrev playing elena..
Rahul ,
Sorry if i wasnt clear , let me try again.
I dont have a favourite on tvd because i love them all.
The only one i know for sure that i don't like is Elena which is funny because shes is the central protagonist :) .
It must just be the character she potrays because I think shes very good as katherine :)
Maybe its because she would have to be really daft to choose stefan over damon ,lol :)
hahah as tempting as that sounds ... shes boring yet the most integral part of the show dont you think ?
Nope havene read the books . I think it may be the only series where i have watched and not read :)...I m scared that if i read the books the enjoyment that comes along with the show maybe dimmed :)
